Adara Alexander (they/she) is a senior at Bryn Mawr College. They are from Milford, PA. They are majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Africana Studies and Gender Studies. Their research interests are cultural psychology with a focus on how cultural identities shape mental health outcomes and interpersonal relationships. Adara is particularly interested in exploring the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality within psychological frameworks, aiming to contribute to a more inclusive understanding of mental health. Outside of academics, they enjoy art, singing, and running Dungeons and Dragons campaigns.
Sasha Mikita (she/her) is a senior at Bryn Mawr College. She’s from Bethesda, Maryland and plans to double major in psychology and anthropology. She’s passionate about multicultural acceptance, the effects of growing up in a mixed-race family, the effects of different upbringings, and on queer relationships. Outside of the lab, she also enjoys participating in the rock climbing club, knitting and crochet club, and hanging around campus outdoors at Bryn Mawr. In her free time outside of work, she likes to go on long bike rides, do puzzles, crochet, and play bananagrams with friends. She’s also passionate about fun socks and converse which she’s often seen wearing.
Priyanka Regmi (she/her) is a junior at Bryn Mawr College. She’s from Kathmandu, Nepal, and is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Data Science. She’s passionate about the intersection of social and clinical psychology, especially how these disciplines are influenced by social status across different cultures. Outside of the lab, Prii enjoys dancing, listening to music, traveling, meeting new people, and making friends. She is also one of the captains of the Bi-Co South Asian dance team, Afreen, and serves as the co-president of the Bryn Mawr South Asian Society.
Anadys Rodriguez (she/he/they) is a senior psychology major minoring in neuroscience and philosophy. They are most interested clinical, social, and cognitive psychology and how social statuses such as race, gender identity, sexuality, and ethnicity influence those disciplines. Anadys can be found on Bryn Mawr campus reading, listening to loud sounds on their headphones, working with the SGA as the junior class co-president, in the Wellness Center with the Peer Health and Wellness Educators, or perhaps bathing in the sun. Likely in a pair of platforms.
Gioanna Zhao (She/her) is a senior at Bryn Mawr College majoring in Psychology and double minors in Data Science and Mathematics. Her academic interests lie in Social and Cultural Psychology, specifically social identities and labels within different cultures and society, mental health and developmental outcomes influenced by childhood experiences. Outside of work, Gioanna enjoys playing tennis, listening to music, traveling, participating in extreme sports, and spending time with friends.
